AMISH ARRESTED FOR DRUNK DRIVING
State Police in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania on Wednesday arrested Robert Miller, 18, on suspicion of DUI while operating an Amish buggy. Four passengers also were cited for underage drinking, including a 16-year-old juvenile. According to police, they stopped the buggy on July 8 in Canoe Township, Indiana County, for a safety issue after two men were observed riding on the roof. Police said the five men were all under the age of 21 and found to have consumed alcoholic beverages, as well as having them in their possession.
* Lochte!
* It’s the Amish women who are supposed to be weaving, not the buggies.
* Buggy surfing? Is that really a thing?
* How do you not see the cops coming from the top of a buggy?
* As a test, police made the buggy driver walk a straight furrow.
* Somebody’s going to be raising a detention center.
* They live in Canoe Township and you know what creek they’re up without a paddle.
* Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania? That’s groundhog country.
* Oh well, at least they weren’t playing Pokemon Go.
