AUDIO: CHUCK E. CHEESE GETTING RID OF ROBOT BAND
After 40 years, Chuck E. Cheese’s famed animatronic band is being given the hook. In hopes of keeping the attention of the modern child, the family restaurant chain is updating the in-store experience in seven southwestern locations by doing away with the robotic musical performers. The robots will be replaced by a centralized dance floors where kids can interact with live-action costumed characters.
* I hear the real story is that the Chuck E. Cheese band is being broken up by an animatronic Yoko.
