AUDIO: CHEWBACCA ARRESTED
Police in Largo, Florida, arrested a man dressed in a Chewbacca costume for theft. Darren Pickrem, 56, allegedly took a total of $623 from a pair of vending machines operated by Florida Fresh Vending. Pickrem had previously worked for the company maintaining those machines, but was “terminated” two months ago. While he knew enough to wear a disguise, Pickrem inexplicably allowed security cameras to get a shot of his face as he entered the building containing the vending machines.

* Now he’s going to be making the Kessel Run with his cellmate.
* He should have sent R2D2 to do it for him.

* Of course he had the Chewbacca head off the costume when he entered. You know how warm it gets in Florida.
