WOMAN STEALS BABY JESUS FROM NATIVITY, CALLS IT "NEGLECTED"

Police say a woman stole baby Jesus from a Nativity scene in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and dropped the figurine off at a hospital with a note that read, in part, “Child has broken right foot which has been neglected. Parents Joseph and Mary Christ got a warning.” Police say 49-year-old Jacqueline Ross told them it was a joke. She was identified from surveillance video and is jailed on charges of theft and institutional vandalism.
* Stranger Danger at the manger!
* They should at least cite Joseph and Mary Christ for misdemeanor Negligent Swaddling.
* Broken right foot? How about no pulse and no breathing?
* Wow, I’ve done some pretty bad jokes too over the years but nobody ever put me in jail for one.
* Time to lay off the eggnog punch, sweetheart.
* The donkey wasn’t the only ass at the Nativity Scene.
* Have you ever wondered how different the Bible would be if it really had happened in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania?
* Yeah, me neither.
* She should try blaming it on the Russians. That’s the go-to move these days.
