LAW FIRM WRITES SONG: "DON'T EAT YOUR WEED"

Will Hutson and Chris Harris are two attorneys in Waco, Texas. They apparently like to give free legal advice, in the form of a catchy song (* Catchy? They wish.), because they wrote and performed one titled “Don’t Eat Your Weed”, and posted it on YouTube. First, they let you know that possession of marijuana in Texas is a Class B misdemeanor, but if you get pulled over by the police and you eat your weed while standing next to the cop, it’s a felony for tampering with evidence.

* Ooh, watch your back, Weird Al Yankovic!
* You can catch Hutson and Harris this Friday in the Waco Justice Center, courtroom 3. Two drink minimum.
* Don’t quit your day job, fellas.
* They’re about as good as you’d expect two singing lawyers to be.
* Sometimes, really cool videos go viral. This is not one of those times.
* I didn’t know the Doobie Brothers were still recording.
* They’re like Sesame Street for stoners.
* Look for their upcoming singles, “So You’ve Been Arrested Shuffle” and the “Lockup Shower Two-Step.”
* You have to admit: It’d be good advice for Willie Nelson.
* Wait, Willie couldn’t eat his stash anyway. It’s too big.
* How about letting Willie write the songs down there in Texas and you two get back in court?
* This could be the first song ever written with billable hours.
