GARDENER STRUCK WITH ARROW
A 66-year-old Davie, Florida, woman was gardening in her backyard on Saturday when she was shot with an arrow, which impaled her thigh, just above the knee. The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, was working in her garden when she felt a searing pain in her leg. When she looked down, she was shocked to discover the arrow piercing her thigh. She yanked it out without thinking, and put her thumbs in the holes to cause pressure. And then she screamed. The woman’s husband called 911 for help and she was taken to a hospital and later released. Police are investigating.
* I may be wrong about this, but I would suspect a neighbor.
* Does she have any arch enemies?
* Maybe the neighbors are tired of her handing out zucchini.
* The weird part – she always wanted a piercing.
* She was gardening in her backyard? Well, what did she think was going to happen acting that recklessly?
* Gardening in her backyard? No, it was more like gardening back in the Middle Ages.
* At least now the husband knows the perfect Christmas gift – body armor.
* How about moving the garden into the basement?
* This is your wacky news health reminder: When shot with an arrow do NOT remove it. Let the doctors takes it out so it causes less damage. You’re welcome.
* Plus you’ll need to save your energy to exact your revenge.
* Is it my imagination or are we getting more bow and arrow stories lately?
