TRUMP BUILDING RESIDENTS WANT "TRUMP" REMOVED FROM SIGNAGE
Three New York City buildings are removing their “Trump” branding in the wake of the recent election. Residents of the Trump Place apartment complex on Manhattan’s Upper West Side started an online petition to have the Trump name removed from the properties. Some residents say they are “embarrassed” when asking taxi drivers to take them home. Almost 600 supporters signed the petition, and tenants should be seeing some changes soon. Residents received a notice Tuesday saying the signs are coming down this week. There has also been an order to replace doormats and get new uniforms for building personnel.
* Embarrassed by a doormat. That’s extreme.
* Wouldn’t anti-Trump residents enjoy walking on his name?
* Hurry up with the changes before Trump builds a wall around the apartment complex.
* Good thing Trump’s last name isn’t “Marriott”. That could get expensive.
* And removing the Trump name isn’t all. Now McDonald’s wants to take the “Donald” out of its name, and just call itself “Mc’s”
* Hey, maybe that’s how it happened: McDonald’s planted the name Donald in everybody’s head.
* Wait, you think Trump is going to be less vain not that he’s going to be the president?
* They’ll be lucky if he doesn’t print the Trump name in gold on the tenants’ foreheads.
* Just wait till the country is officially called “Trump’s America.”
