AUDIO: PILOT SCOLDS FIGHTING PASSENGERS

The pilot of a United flight from San Francisco to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, used the plane’s intercom system to address passengers after a racially charged post-election fight broke out on board Friday. The fight started when an individual with a plaid shirt and a camo cap said something about being “glad to have kept his guns” to an African American lady, and she began to cry and freak out. The two passengers were reportedly separated, and the captain of the flight came on the plane’s PA system to set things straight.
* “Take it outside, you two!”
* This wasn’t the Mile High Club, it was the Mile High Fight Club.
* So “plaid shirt and camo cap” immediately means “white”? Isn’t that racist? I mean, it’s true, but still …
* The pilot finished with, “Now sit down and shut up, or I’ll release the snakes.”
* You laugh, but do you think Thanksgiving with the family is going to be any easier this year?
* You had to admit: it was better than an in-flight movie.
* Sure, great time to fly to Mexico while we’re so beloved down there.
* Maybe they want jobs building the wall.
* Sure, I could talk tough too if I had some air marshals onboard.
