BALLPLAYER HITS IT OUT OF THE PARK, RIGHT INTO HIS OWN WINDSHIELD

Outfielder Brandon Thomas, who plays for the minor league Gateway Grizzlies of St. Louis in the independent Frontier League, hit a grand-slam homer in the second inning of the game on Sunday. The ball flew out of the ballpark. Unfortunately, it flew into the parking lot where it took out the windshield of a truck. And guess whose truck it was? Yep. Brandon Thomas broke his own windshield with his homer. Thomas later tweeted a picture of the damage with the caption: “Definitely worth it!!”
* He should have taken the bus.
* Then Brandon made a citizen’s arrest of himself for vandalism.
* To be fair, I doubt if there were too many other vehicles in the parking lot.
* And I mean no disrespect to the … what was the name again … oh, the Gateway Grizzlies.
* Ditto for the Frontier League.
* The Gateway Grizzlies? Do they get a lot of bears under that Arch?
* Actually the Frontier League goes back to when the pioneers first came over the plains in wagon trains and started playing baseball.
* Now if a St Louis Cardinal did this, you’d have some really long odds.
