CHRISTMAS SHOPPER SMACKS WOMAN WITH A ROLL OF WRAPPING PAPER

A fight broke out at a Dollar Tree store in Paistow, New Hampshire, last Saturday when one woman allegedly smacked another in the face with a roll of wrapping paper. Therese R. Tomarchio, 49, encountered a man and woman who were also shopping. The two women had some past connection to the man and they got into an argument. At some point, Tomarchio took a roll of wrapping paper and struck the other woman in the face with it, cutting her upper lip. Tomarchio was arrested and charged with simple assault.

* She took the wrap, rapped the other woman with it, and then took the rap.
* “Look out – she’s got Scotch tape!”
* The man shops at Dollar Tree? Well of course two women are going to fight over a big spender like that.
* The victim said she saw stars, and also complained about visions of sugarplums.
* If I were the victim, I’d demand a discount on the roll of wrapping paper because it was damaged.
