ANONYMOUS PERSON DONATING $86 MILLION IN BITCOIN TO CHARITY

You’ve probably been hearing a lot about Bitcoin these last couple of weeks. It’s a cryptocurrency – a way of buying things on the internet without using dollars or pounds or euros. Recently, the value of Bitcoin has skyrocketed. An anonymous investor, who invested early in Bitcoin, is currently riding the wave. He created a charity called The Pineapple Fund and is donating $86 million to different charities through that fund. Talking to a website called BoingBoing.com, the anonymous philanthopist said, “What do you do when you have more money than you can ever possibly spend?Donating most of it to charity is what I’m doing.”
