WOMAN STEALS FROM WALMART: "I WANTED TO GET SOMETHING NICE FOR MY HUSBAND"
In Vero Beach, Florida, Walmart security stopped 25-year-old Cheyenne West and her mother after observing them removing the labels from several clearance items and sticking them over the UPC codes on other, more expensive items. They also watched them take a computer and several video game controllers, and remove the packaging and security tags. The pair made their way to self-checkout, where they scanned the clearance tags and made no attempt to pay for the computer and other items. The total cost of the items they paid for came to $3.70, and the unpaid merchandise came to a total of $1,825.00. Under questioning, West told deputies, “I am just trying to get gifts for my son that I cannot afford. The computer is for my husband since he just got me a Coach purse, I figured he deserved something nice as well.”
* Is there ANYTHING a woman won’t blame on her husband?
* They might want to go check the security tapes at the Coach purse store.
* “Something nice from Walmart?!! For me??? Oh, darling, you shouldn’t have!!!”
* Was it “Take Your Daughter to Shoplifting Day”?
* This is the plot of the Christmas episode of “Shameless”.
