WIFE GIVES BIRTH AFTER HUSBAND CRASHES CAR

A woman gave birth to a baby girl in a car around 3 a.m. Monday after her panicked husband slammed into a concrete barrier while rushing to a hospital. Hongwei Zhang took a wide turn after exiting from Interstate 5 in San Diego and hit several concrete barriers. He jumped out of the car and frantically flagged down a passing car. Lucky for the couple, the driver was a registered nurse who had just finished her shift and was heading home. The nurse, Dayna Dumont, said the couple’s car looked like it was totaled – (* Boy, having a baby can be expensive!) – with both airbags deployed. She tried to open the passenger door, but it was stuck because of the damage. But there, in the front seat, Dumont found Ying Shi, the no-longer-pregnant woman. Her baby girl was already out. The woman’s husband called 911 but he was having difficulty explaining where they were, so Dumont ended up talking to the dispatcher, telling her precisely where the car had crashed. The Zhangs named their baby girl Anna.
* Her middle name should be “Panic”, so she can say, “I was born Anna Panic.”
* The only thing more bizarre than having an off-work nurse drive by, would be an off-work tow truck driver.
* Well, there’s a bunch of lamaze class money wasted.
* Hongwei took the longwei, and it was the wrongwei.
* Did he get out after the accident and run around the car?
