ARMED, SINGING MAN BARRICADES SELF IN HOUSE

A Bear Lake, Florida, man was taken into custody early Monday morning after he barricaded himself inside his home for more than five hours. Dozens of law enforcement officers arrived at the home about 9:30 p.m., after receiving a call about a family disturbance. The man’s wife, her adult daughter and a child fled the home after the man fired several rounds from a handgun. He then barricaded himself inside. Deputies said the man was inside a room and he was singing. He was eventually arrested without incident.
