ENCHANTED ROCK RETURNED

Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is a popular hiking and camping site in central Texas. The site comes with a number of legends, such as anyone who spends a night on the rock becomes invisible, or that bad fortune will befall anyone who climbs the rock with bad intent. Last week, park officials received a package from a visitor to Enchanted Rock. The woman, who identified herself as Maria, sent back a stone she took claiming it had supernatural powers. Her note read, “I’m returning this rock to its owner, Enchanted Rock. I’ve had nothing but bad luck since I took it. Sorry I did it. P.S. not able to do it in person.”
* And THAT is how you solve a problem, like Maria.
* Was the return address a hospital?
* Stealing a cursed rock. That takes a lot of stones.
* Maybe they should tell people the legends BEFORE they enter the park.
* Meh. If it was really enchanted, the rock would have magically materialized back where it came from.
