OREO'S MYSTERY FLAVOR – FROOTY CEREAL
Earlier this week, Oreo announced that they would be giving fans the chance to guess the correct flavor of their new “mystery flavored creme” for a chance to win a $50,000 grand prize. You simply taste the limited-edition Mystery Oreos and submit a guess through OreoMystery.com. It appears most taste-testers have come to a consensus: The mystery flavor is either Froot Loops, Fruity Pebbles, Trix, or some other fruity cereal, they say. The other thing social media agrees on… the mystery flavor isn’t very good. One likens it to eating ‘Burnt Orange Peel,’ or ‘Goo Gone’. Another called it “fruity, but like the Axe Body Spray of Fruity Pebbles kind of fruity.”
* A $50,000 prize can’t buy this kind of great publicity, can it?
* Another great social experiment gone wrong.
* Time to go back to focus groups.
* How does that one guy know what Goo Gone tastes like?
* OreoMystery.com says: “There’s a delicious cookie creation on the loose, and we need your help guessing the flavor!” What did they do, just dump in some random chemicals without looking at the labels?
* There’s something wrong with this story. It hasn’t polarized America into two diametrically opposed vitriolic hate groups.
