WANTED MAN OFFERS TO TURN SELF IN FOR 1,000 FACEBOOK SHARES

A wanted man in Detroit, Michigan, made a challenge last Friday to the Redford Township Police Department. He’d turn himself in if he got 1,000 shares on Facebook. The man, Michael Torino, has several arrest warrants against him. He also left messages on the Department’s Facebook site, including one that said, “You guys suck!” The police wrote back that if he didn’t stop posting threats, he would be blocked from the site. Torino wrote back promising to turn himself in if he got 1,000 shares. He also sweetened the deal by promising to come with a dozen doughnuts and to pick up every piece of litter around local schools. The department happily accepted the challenge. Within an hour the post had more than 1,000 shares. Yet, as of Tuesday afternoon, Torino had yet to show up at the police department with doughnuts in hand.
* Okay, now the police are REALLY mad.
* It’s hard to believe that people will flat-out lie on the internet.
* They should tempt him with something better than Facebook likes – Bitcoins.
* What are the cops doing spending so much time on Facebook? Your tax dollars at work.
* So … Redford Township Police kinda do suck. As detectives, anyway.
