WOMAN REPEATEDLY PUT GLASS IN HER FOOD FOR FREE MEALS

Kaitlyn Murphy, of Delray Beach, Florida, turned herself in to police last week, admitting to putting glass in her food at restaurants and shaming them into giving her the meals for free. Police say over a period of 12 days last month, Murphy, 31, ate at nine restaurants, and racked up more than $150 in free food. Her downfall came when she pulled the stunt at Anthony’s Coal Fire Pizza where, after complaining of glass in her food, Anthony’s noted they don’t use glass anywhere near its food. Murphy confessed to cops she carried around shards of glass, placing them in the food after she’d eaten most of it. She even purposely cut her lip to make the ruse look more authentic.
