FUNERAL HOME BURGLAR STEALS CLOTHES MEANT FOR THE DECEASED

A burglar was captured on camera stealing clothes from a Kentucky funeral home. Police say the man broke into Watts and Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, Kentucky. Surveillance video shows the man stripping down naked, then putting on clothes that were laid out for the late 81-year-old Ray Daughtery, who was in preparation to be laid to rest the next day. The man took a green sports jacket, khaki pants, and jewelry. Police say they have an idea who the suspect is.
* Of course they do. He’s wearing a green sports jacket, khaki pants, and jewelry.
* 81 years old? Then there must also have been the mandatory pair of white shoes.
* In that outfit, the thief was to die for.
* For a few minutes there, they were acting out that Norman Mailer book, The Naked and the Dead.
* Now the dead guy is NOT all dressed up with nowhere to go.
* On the bright side, Ray Daughtery always slept in the nude anyway.
