SUSPECT APPLIES FOR JOB DURING POLICE CHASE

In Boston, Massachusetts, a suspect who led troopers on a chase tried to hide out by applying for a job. His name … Jose Jimenez … ran over a police officer’s foot while fleeing a traffic stop, and he led police on a chase Tuesday. Jimenez managed to lose the cops before abandoning his car in a parking lot and running into a nearby business, Osprey Wireless, then asked if the shop was hiring. General Manager Jeff Moran took Jimenez into his office for an interview. Moran said the interview was going well, so he had Jimenez fill out an application. Meanwhile, police discovered the abandoned car and began searching the surrounding area, including the shop. Officers arrested Jimenez about 8 minutes into his interview.
* “Where do you see yourself in 5 to 7 years, three with good behavior?”
* “Have you ever been convicted of a crime?” “Technically, not yet.”
* Finally, an employee with get up and go, and he has to get up and go.
* At least he’ll have a job when he gets out.
* He ran over a police officer’s foot. Now the cop’s a real flatfoot.
