6-YEAR-OLD USES SLEEPING MOM'S THUMBPRINT TO OPEN AMAZON APP

While Bethany Howell, of Little Rock, Arkansas, napped on the couch last week, her 6-year-old daughter Ashlynd used her mother’s thumb to unlock her phone and open the Amazon shopping app. Ashlynd bought $250 worth of toys. The purchases left the girl’s parents with “13 order confirmations for Pokémon items” and the feeling that they’d been hacked. But the 6-year-old later assured mom and dad that she’d been shopping. “She was really proud of herself,” said Ms. Howell.
* Can they return it? Their daughter, I mean.
* Precocious little brat, isn’t she?
* So I guess little Ashyland wasn’t too thrilled with her Christmas presents this year.
* Now her mom has to sleep with gloves on.
* She’s going to be sent to her room for the next decade.
* Smart kid. She’s blaming the whole thing on Russian hackers.
