WOULD-BE ROBBER APOLOGIZES AFTER FAILED ATTEMPT

Police in Little River, South Carolina, are seeking a man who apologized after attempting to rob a convenience store. Back on June 18, the unidentified man walked inside a Circle K and demanded money while holding a knife. The night clerk didn’t give the man money and told him to leave. The man realized his efforts were going nowhere and apologized, put the knife back in his pocket and left.
* That is one sorry robber.
* Although he is polite. Maybe he should have started out by saying “Please”.
* There’s never any follow-through with these kids today.
* They don’t apply themselves, as my dad would always say.
* At least it wasn’t “I’m sorry – but since you won’t give me money I’ll have to stab you.”
