WOMAN TRIES TO ROB BANK WITH A STICK

A woman with a wooden stick in her hand tried to rob a San Pedro, California bank Monday morning but was quickly arrested. The woman walked into the Bank of America about 9 a.m. She had the stick in her hand and handed a note demanding cash to a teller. She also claimed to have a gun. The teller did not give her anything, so she walked away. A security guard followed her, giving police her location. Officers arrived and took her into custody, police said. The woman’s name was not immediately released.
* Wow. I can’t even give her an “E” for Effort.
* Unless she’s down on her luck and just wanted the quickest route to ten years of free room and board.
* Of course she had a stick. That’s how you rob a bank branch.
* “This is a stick up. This is a stick down. Give me your money.”
* Sounds like the teller told her to stick it.
* Was it a real bank robbery, or was she just doing some shtick?
* She got there right at 9 a.m.? Well, at least she isn’t a procrastinator.
* They’ll probably say she’s crazy because of the stick, but she’s not out of the woods yet.
* I love it when the tellers just say, “Oh, get lost. You’ll have to do a lot better than that.”
* Now if it had been a stick of dynamite it would have been different.
* Not that I’m recommending anyone do that.
