WOMAN PICKS UP TRUCK TO SAVE FATHER

A petite 19-year-old Virginia woman lifted a large burning truck off her father. Charlotte Heffelmire turned into a real-life 5-foot-6, 120-pound superhero when she rushed to her father’s aid November 28. Eric Heffelmire was working on a pickup in the garage when a jack slipped, pinning him under the vehicle. The mishap also caused a gasoline spill which set the truck and the garage on fire. Charlotte went into the garage and saw that it was already on fire and noticed her dad under the truck. She was able to lift the truck twice to get her father free. Then she climbed into the burning truck and drove it out of the garage on three wheels, then closed the garage doors to help contain the fire and then went into the house and got everybody out, including her sister’s baby. And while waiting for the fire department to arrive, she tried to keep the fire from spreading to the rest of their Vienna home with a garden hose.
* While simultaneously taking advantage of the fire to grill everyone some bratwurst served with an impromptu salad she picked from their outdoor vegetable garden with her free hand.
* So Dad can’t do anything right and the daughter is an over-achiever.
* Soon to be a new episode of “Supergirl.”
* I think we may have the next Ronda Rousey here.
* Wait, the jack slipped and the garage caught on fire? Sounds like one of my home projects.
* I can do this much damage just making a set of shelves.
* Oh, after driving the truck out she also rotated the remaining tires and realigned the wheels.
