WOMAN DESTROYS BAR'S LIQUOR
In Spokane, Washington, a woman assaulted a bar owner she was in a previous relationship with and then trashed the bar, smashing alcohol bottles all over the place, causing nearly $6,000 in damages. According to police, Danielle Owen, 36, went to the Left Bank Bar, owned by Issac Gordon, her previous boyfriend. They had been together for five years, but separated for eight months. Gordon went into the bar around 1:30 a.m. with his girlfriend and did not lock the door. Owen walked into the bar behind them and refused to leave. She began punching him in the face. Gordon then left the bar because Owen would not stop assaulting him. He called Owen’s mother to come get her. At some point during the ordeal, Owen began throwing bottles all over the bar. When police arrived at the scene they found approximately 80 broken bottles of wine and alcohol spewed across the bar. The bottles had put holes in the wall and ripped holes in canvas artwork.
* Yes, alcohol was involved. Obviously.
* Could we just have a moment of silence for all that wasted booze?
* Drinks weren’t on the house, they were all over the house.
* She was reportedly singing, “99 bottles of wine on the wall, you take one down and smash it around, 98 bottle of wine on the wall …”
* She said she’d mop the floor with the guy, and it really did need a good mopping.
* Why would anybody want to break up with a doll like that?
* They’re going to need a bigger bar towel.
* This is nothing. You should see her when she’s mad.
* Sure, approximately 80 bottles, or as many as the owner wanted to claim on his insurance.
* This could have been a business opportunity – I’m just sayin.”
