TODDLER DRIVES CAR AFTER DRUNK MOM FALLS OUT
A 3-year-old had to guide a pickup truck to safety after his drunken mom tumbled out of the vehicle on a rural highway in Oklahoma last Wednesday. The toddler steered the truck for about three blocks across four lanes of traffic while standing on the seat to reach the steering wheel, eventually crashing into a curb. Taloa Foster, the drunken mom, told cops she dropped out of the truck while trying to buckle her son’s seat belt. Her twin sons were trapped in the truck as it hit the curb. The two kids were uninjured from the incident. Cops found an empty liquor bottle on the truck’s floor. The 33-year-old mother was arrested and charged with child endangerment after being suspected of drunk driving.
* Is it drunk driving even after you’ve exited the vehicle?
* If only the second twin had sat on the brake pedal.
* I’m having trouble picturing the scenario where she falls out of a moving car buckling up a seat belt.
* However, I have no problem thinking the woman is lying to try and make this a little better.
* “I fell while I was trying to buckle their seat belts. See? I DO care about their safety.”
* Unfortunately, she was so drunk she forgot her own seatbelt.
* This is different. We have “falling down drunk” all the time but not “falling out of the truck drunk.”
* Man, does this sound like the beginning of a NASCAR racing legend or what?
* “Little Ricky Bobby got his start driving when his Mom fell out of the pickup truck.” It has everything.
