SUBSTITUTE TEACHER CHUGGED BOXED WINE DURING CLASS

A substitute teacher was arrested last week for drinking wine from a box while in a classroom. It happened at Brookland-Cayce High School in Columbia, South Carolina. Substitute Judith Richards-Gartee was behaving erratically Friday morning and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Administrators went to the classroom around 9:45 a.m. and found her throwing up and unable to stand. The administration removed her from the classroom in a wheelchair and sent her to a school resource officer. They found a box of wine in Richards-Gartee’s open handbag. Students said she was consuming the wine during class.
* She was subbing for math class, but now she’s history.
* But did she bring enough wine for everybody? No.
* Wine in a box. See how underpaid teachers are?
* How brave of her to admit she has a drinking problem.
* See? I’ve learned how to play the PC game by now.
* She’s the real victim, right? Not the kids she was teaching – no, the person with the problem.
* A similar thing happened to me back in school. I was throwing up and unable to stand after trying the tuna casserole in the school cafeteria.
* Hey, before you judge, you try being a substitute teacher sometime.
