RESIDENTS DON'T WANT TO LIVE ON DICK STREET

Some resident of Clifton, New Jersey, are unhappy with a proposed street name change. They currently live on a short stretch known as Ellsworth Street, but the rest of the road on either end of Ellsworth is called Dick Street. The town wants to change Ellsworth to Dick to make it one complete road and to make it easier for first-responders to find. A number of Ellsworth residents, however, fear the new address would conjure up off-color associations, scare away future homebuyers and lower property values.
* Wow, these people are really being a bunch of guess what.
* Dick street is a very short road. Of course, when it gets excited it gets longer.
* Wait, why not just change the two pieces of Dick street and make the whole thing Ellsworth Street?
* Do I have to figure everything out for you people?
* Maybe the real problem is, they don’t want to live in New Jersey.
* Could be worse. Isn’t that right, people who live on Hershey Highway, Pennsylvania?
