January, 2015 – A British woman has confessed to getting rid of a bad date by pretending to have died. Anna Gray, 29 from Somerset, England, wanted to get rid of a guy after a couple of mediocre dates. She got her sister to send a fake text claiming she’s in the hospital and can’t receive visitors. The guy texted back that he was outside the hospital and insisted on popping in for a visit. Sister texted back that they’d just “lost her”.
