POOP-THEMED KIDS PARTY

St. Louis, Missouri, parents gave their 3-year-old daughter a birthday party with an unusual theme: poop. Rebecca (no last name given) said she and her husband weighed their options after Audrey, 3, asked for her birthday party to have the theme of poop, one of the toddler’s favorite subjects of discussion. Her parents have no idea where the poop obsession comes from but, they say, it is real and it shows up every single day. Every time the subject of her party would come up, Audrey said she wanted poop balloons and a poop cake. Rebecca tried suggesting other themes, but she “always insisted on poop.” After some discussion Rebecca and her husband decided to “embrace the weird.” They had birthday costumes modeled after Apple’s smiling poop emoji, as well as poop emoji balloons and a cake. Rebecca created her own “Pin the Poop in the Toilet” game. The party also featured a poop-shaped pinata filled with Tootsie Rolls and Hershey’s Kisses. The parents said Audrey’s party was a big hit with guests.
