NEW POP-TARTS FLAVORS: JOLLY RANCHER CANDY

Pop-Tarts have teamed up with Jolly Rancher candy. Hitting stores later this month are Jolly Rancher-flavored Pop-Tarts in three varieties: green apple, cherry, and watermelon.
* Mmm … fresh fruit flavors, so you know they’re good for you.
* Candy for breakfast! Is this a great country, or what?
* So much for “the most important meal of the day”.
* This is good news, ’cause toasting Jolly Rancher candy in the toaster has been a freakin’ nightmare.
* If you want to complain that this doesn’t sound very nutritious, then you haven’t been reading the side of a box of Pop-Tarts lately.
* That’s what I’ve been missing from my Pop-Tarts: pucker.
* It’s kind of like when they partner two established musical acts up for a summer tour.
* Or how about when they get two or three aging action stars and put them in the same movie?
* I’m just sayin’ in this market you have to go a little further. That’s all.
* Besides, we’re Americans. Any new menu item from our food industry is going to sell if they put enough ad money behind it.
