MOM SPENDS $25,000 ON SON'S PROM

One Philadelphia mom spent $25,000 on her son’s high school prom. Saudia Shuler says she had thought of sending her only son, Johnny Eden Jr., to Dubai for a visit. Instead, she decided to bring Dubai to Philadelphia. She brought in a camel, three tons of sand, plus rented a Lambourghini and a Rolls Royce and threw a block party. Her son brought three dates, all in custom-made gowns, and he wore three different formal outfits. Said Johnny: “At first I was like, it was too much, I don’t really like a lot of attention but it’s worth it.” Johnny is graduating from Simon Gratz Mastery Charter with a 3.8 Grade point average, and is a standout out on the basketball team. Mrs. Shuler said by bringing Dubai to North Philadelphia, the whole neighborhood could enjoy the experience. “I was just trying to pay honor to my son, because he is such a good kid,” she said.
