MAN'S OBITUARY: "DON'T VOTE FOR HILLARY"

Larry Upright of North Carolina died last week at 81. In his obituary, it says, “R.I.P. Grandaddy. The family respectfully asks that you do not vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016.” According to his family, Upright was a diehard Republican and had a passion for politics. Upright’s daughter, Jill McClain, who wrote the obituary, said, “We did it solely to do something nice and honorable for our dad.” His son, Mike Upright, said, “We know he’s up there giggling right now.”
* This is taking a grudge to a whole new level.
* And in this case the level is 6 feet under.
* The dead can’t influence elections. Except in Chicago, of course.
* Mr. Upright isn’t so upright right now. Unless they buried him vertically.
* And what if it’s Hillary versus another one of the Bushes? Imagine the acrimony that’ll flow out of that.
* But don’t worry. It’s only be for the next year and a half.
* I’m just surprised they didn’t blame this guy’s death on Obamacare.
* Sure, that’s it. One of the death panels took him out because he was a Republican.
