MAN HAS VISITED DISNEYLAND EVERY DAY FOR 2,000 DAYS
A Huntington Beach, California, resident marked his 2,000th consecutive visit last Thursday to Disneyland. Jeff Reitz, an annual passholder, began his daily trips to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park on Jan. 1, 2012, according to Disneyland Resort officials. Reitz, a 44-year-old Air Force veteran, was unemployed when he started his streak and was looking to keep up his spirits. “It was something to do to keep things fun,” he said. He had initially intended to end his daily visits after a year, but decided to keep the streak going. “It’s become a living, breathing thing along the way,” Reitz said. Now that Reitz has a regular day job again at the Veterans Administration in Long Beach, he typically spends evenings at the park. He said it helps him decompress at the end of the day. His favorite ride: The Matterhorn.
* And gals … he’s single.
* Coming from the Air Force, you’d think his favorite ride would be the flying Dumbos.
* He should get a job working at Disneyland, ’cause he’s goofy.
* “It’s become a living, breathing thing.” Or, he’s in a rut. Either way.
* At least he picked the one without the alligators.
