MAN HAS TWO CARS CRUSHED BY TWO DIFFERENT TREES ON SAME DAY
Georgiy Karpekin was at California’s Sacramento City College when strong winds swept over the area Wednesday. When Karpekin went out to the parking lot, he discovered his truck had been “taco’d” – a tree had blown over and reformed the pickup into the shape of a taco shell. Karpekin got a ride to his West Sacramento home where he made another shocking discovery – another tree had fallen on his other car, parked in front of his house. Karpekin took the damage in stride, saying, “You know, life’s full of peaks and valleys, man.” He says insurance is covering the damages.
* Good to see legalization taking hold in California.
* This is when you start wondering if it’s personal.
* He hasn’t really offended God lately, has he?
* His truck was “taco’d”? Does everything in this country have to be about food?
* We also talk about cars getting “T-boned”.
* At least he wasn’t in the truck when it got taco’d, or he’d be hamburger.
* Maybe he ought to look into buying a tank.
* One takeaway from this story is that the weather has been crap in California lately.
* The super-strong winds sure blow.
* Just wondering: was this guy nearby when that Giant Sequoia with the tunnel through the trunk collapsed?
