MAN DRIVES TRUCK THROUGH HIS OWN HOUSE
John Paul Jones Jr. of Senoia, Georgia, said he was angry after a phone call to his wife, so he started up his pickup truck in the backyard and drove it all the way through his house. It happened last Thursday afternoon. “I don’t know, it was just one of those spur of the moment crazy things,” said Jones – a contractor by trade – who did his own repairs over the past few days. “I’ve been out of work for the past year and a half. Needed some work,” said Jones. “It didn’t pay anything, but hey, it kept me busy.” Even though he drove his pickup truck straight through a building, Jones said it’s still running fine, just a broken light and a flat tire, and a few scratches. Jones is not being charged with a crime because there’s no law against driving a truck through a house, as long as it’s your truck and your house.
* Although there should be.
* Performing demolition without a license?
* “Just one of those spur of the moment crazy things.” Maybe next time he should try counting to ten.
* He CAN count to ten, right?
* Either that’s a good truck or a very flimsy house.
* I’m sensing a commercial here.
* Or at least a country song.
* It went okay, except he almost hit the car up on blocks in the front yard.
* How would like to be the dog on the porch when this thing came rolling through?
