LEMONADE STAND THIEF CAPTURED
A Southern California man has been charged with knocking over a lemonade stand and stealing $30 from two 13-year-old entrepreneurs. The girls were selling lemonade when they were approached by Santini Tate, 18, of Riverside. He reportedly told the girls he had no money; they gave him lemonade without asking him to pay. Tate began to walk away, but came back, pushed over the lemonade stand and grabbed the girls’ pink and turquoise money box. The brother of one of the girls chased the suspect and managed to retrieve the cash box, which had been emptied. A sheriff deputy sent to investigate spotted Tate shortly thereafter and arrested him. He was able to retrieve the girls’ stolen money.
* But not their lost innocence.
* Relax, it’ll get them ready for the business world.
* It’s that old saying: When life give you lemons, rob a lemonade stand.
* Thank God they caught him before he could start in on the Girl Scout Cookies.
* That’s really going to impress the other convicts, isn’t it? “Yeah, I robbed two 13-year-olds of their lemonade money.”
* They had a pink and turquoise money box? Next time try a safe.
