KOBE BUFFALOMEAT

Illinois State University has a new football recruit. The university signed an offensive lineman named Kobe Buffalomeat. The name immediately created a media frenzy. Buffalomeat, 6-foot-7, 285-pounds, is from Lawrence, Kansas. He went to Lawrence High School, playing football and basketball. It’s a Native American name and he comes from a well-known family in town.
* Still, that name is pretty rare.
* Their second choice was Angus.
* As he headed off to college his parents yelled, “Bison!”
* Can we get him to Houston by Sunday?
* Best. Football. Player. Name. Ever.
* If this was 20 years ago, Buffalomeat could one day play against The Refrigerator.
* Has Buffalomeat ever been to a Meat Loaf concert?
* Strange but true: Kobe Buffalomeat was not named after Kobe beef. He was named after Kobe Bryant. Who WAS named after Kobe beef. (Source: http://www.si.com/college-football/2017/02/02/kobe-buffalomeat-illinois-state)
* For lame names I’d still take Guy Whimper.
* Then there are provocative names like Danny Woodhead.
* This kid should transfer to the Colorado Buffaloes.
