ILLEGAL DUCK DUMP

Somebody illegally dumped nearly 100 domesticated ducks in New Jersey. Authorities don’t know who released 92 Khaki Campbell ducks into the Hackensack River. Many were found in the grass outside of a Secaucus mall. The ducks were rounded up by the Barnyard Sanctuary where they will be adopted out. Barnyard Sanctuary founder Tamala Lester says she’s received more than 100 offers for the ducks.
* Which is good, because they need to get the flock out of there.
* You could tell they were domesticated ducks because they headed straight for the mall.
* More than 100 offers for fewer than 100 ducks. So whoever did this needs to dump more illegal ducks.
* It’s a nice change for New Jersey, where the illegal dumps usually involve toxic chemicals or dead bodies.
* It started when someone saw the first one and yelled, “Get the duck out of here.”
* Maybe Duck Dynasty’s doing a road trip.
* How cruel for the ducks: First they were elated to be free. Then they realized they were in New Jersey.
* How many of you thought of that Sopranos episode where the ducks fly into Tony’s swimming pool?
* Don’t worry: The ducks will be adopted and then turned into duck pate.
* Which is good on a quacker.
