HOLOCAUST MUSEUM ASKS PEOPLE TO NOT PLAY POKEMON GO THERE

It seems that the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., a museum dedicated to the Nazi genocide of Jews, is a “PokeStop” in the Pokemon Go game. PokeStops are where players can stock up on free items. Andrew Hollinger, the museum’s communications director, is – for some CRAZY reason – asking people to stop playing “Pokemon GO” on the premises. “Playing the game is not appropriate in the museum, which is a memorial to the victims of Nazism,” Hollinger said. “We are trying to find out if we can get the museum excluded from the game.” Hollinger said the museum encourages visitors to share images and videos of exhibits on social media, “but this game falls very much outside that.”
* I think I see this one his way.
* Pokemon Go players are forcing their way everywhere, just like S.S. Storm Troopers.
* There’s no way to PokeStop Pokemon Go.
* The way this thing is making money, the PokeStop in Washington, D.C. should be the U.S. Mint.
* Ironically, if we had Pokemon back in the 1930s maybe the Nazi Party wouldn’t have happened.
* Maybe Hitler would have been too busy playing the game.
* It’s all social media. First we have Godwin’s Law about Hitler and now we have the rule of Pokemon.
* How about this Pokemon craze, huh? This could be as quickly as I’ve ever gotten tired of anything.
