GIANT BOA CONSTRICTOR RIDES NYC BUS
The driver of the B12 bus in New York City looked in his rear-view mirror last Saturday afternoon and saw a large boa constrictor crawling along a back window. The bus was eight stops into its route when the snake was spotted. The driver quickly brought the bus back to the depot, where workers had to pull off panels to get to the creature, which appeared to be headed to the warmth of the engine. It was taken away by workers from Animal Care and Control. An MTA source said another driver had seen a passenger bring a snake onto the bus in a bag the day before, but assumed the man had taken the snake with him – until it turned up the next day.
* I believe a snake in the back of the bus is discrimination.
* The boa constrictor was spotted Saturday? Wasn’t it spotted from birth?
* It was taken away by workers from Animal Care and Control, with emphasis on the “Control.”
* Now how is the snake supposed to get to Brooklyn?
* Don’t worry about a boa constrictor on the loose. Before it did any damage it would have been killed by a New York city rat.
* Nobody does the crazy like New York. Nobody.
* You know, a few boa constrictors in the city could help with the coyote population.
* This is sort of a modern day version of the Garden of Eden. You’ve got the snake and the Big Apple.
* The driver drove back to the depot? If it had been me they would have to tow that bus before I took it anywhere.
