FEUDING MAN BULLDOZES NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE
A Tennessee man is accused of bulldozing his neighbor’s house in the midst of the ongoing argument. Tipton County authorities were called after 57-year-old Edcar McLellan was caught bulldozing neighbor John Higdon’s home. When police got to the scene, they found the walls were on the ground, there was water from burst pipes and the kitchen floor was covered in fallen debris. The two families have been feuding for awhile. Deputies also say John Higdon was arrested several hours before the bulldozing incident occurred, telling authorities there were “multiple people hiding in and running from the woods.” He also admitted to shooting into the woods. No one was home at the time of the incident. McLelland is charged with trespassing and felony vandalism, while Higdon was charged with reckless endangerment.
* And he didn’t even hit the still.
* Or is it meth lab? What century are we in?
* Is this how we solve disputes in the south now? With bulldozers?
* Tennessee, huh? He must have caused tens of dollars in damage.
* They should also charge him with “demolition without a license.”
* This must be part of that new HGTV show, “Love It or Level It”.
* Could have been worse. There could have been a gas explosion.
* You’ve wrecked your neighbor’s house. The least you could do now is put it in a dumpster for the guy.
* Did they save the lucky horseshoe over the front door?
* We just had an angry father bulldozing the car of his daughter’s boyfriend the other day. This is like a theme week.
* Sure, the Discovery Channel has Shark Week – why can’t the Wacky News have Bulldozer Week?
* Then we could have Sword Week and the even scarier Machete Week.
* Here’s the movie pitch for this story: the Hatfields and McCoys with heavy equipment.
* I tell you what, I wouldn’t want a bulldozer but it would make the commute a hell of a lot easier.
