COUPLE USES KETCHUP TO STAGE A FAKE DEATH

Sandusky, Ohio, police ticketed two city residents after they staged a murder scene and posted a picture of the hoax. Shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, several officers rushed to a home after a report of a homicide. They later determined the home’s occupants, Nataleigh Schlette and Micah Risner, faked the death. She got into the bathtub, and they poured ketchup all over to make it look like he murdered her. Then he started sending out the picture and texting that he did it. Both Schlette and Risner are facing charges of inducing panic, a misdemeanor. Police say three people called, in hysterics.
* Wasting ketchup is no joke, you two.
* They got ticketed, plus, they had to clean up the bathroom.
* Inducing panic is a crime? I think the anti-Trump forces might have a legal avenue here.
* Great, now I’m going to spend the next few moments of my life wondering why they did it.
* I mean if they want attention, they should just say so.
* Never do something like this unless it’s for a good reason, like taking off from work.
* At least it’s a nice change from the real attacks at home involving pitchforks, samurai swords, throwing food …
* I’m thinking of a weird Alfred Hitchcock-style movie where he convinces her to do this as a hoax, then murders her for real.
* Authorities figured it couldn’t be a real murder or it would have been live-streamed on Facebook instead.
