COUPLE HAS VISITED EVERY CRACKER BARREL IN THE U.S. BUT ONE
A couple from Indiana is one stop away from visiting every Cracker Barrel restaurant in the United States. Ray and Wilma Yoder have visited all but one of Cracker Barrel’s 645 locations throughout their 60 years of marriage and plan to visit the final remaining location in Portland, Oregon later this year. The Yoders first developed an affinity for the restaurant in the 1960s travelling across the country in an RV. After awhile, the couple realized how many different locations they had visited. Then they began to take it quite seriously and said, ‘Let’s see if we can do them all.'” The Yoders have become VIPs at the restaurant chain, and are often invited to ribbon cutting ceremonies at new locations. They do not consider a visit complete unless they’ve purchased something, ranging from a full meal to a trinket from the gift shop. The couple has visited as many as eight locations in one day and have admitted to leaving breakfast at one location to drive to another stop for lunch in pursuit of their quest. “I’ve not had a bad experience anytime,” Ray Yoder, 80, said. “I’ve always walked away feeling refreshed.”
* Is there a literal cracker barrel full of water that you bathe in?
* Bet they have a lot of great stories.
* Barbara Walters, I just found two people for your “Most Fascinating People of 2017” special.
* This is the weirdest case of OCD I’ve ever heard.
* The couple is also the proud owner of the world’s largest Jeff Foxworthy comedy CD collection.
