CHINESE WAITRESS STABS MAN IN RESTAURANT
A waitress in a Brooklyn Chinese restaurant allegedly stabbed a man to death at the eatery on Monday night. Police say Jian-Yang Zhang was visiting his sister at the Lucky Zhang Family restaurant on Eighth Avenue in Sunset Park, when an argument erupted between him and the waitress about 10 p.m. The 35-year-old waitress stabbed Zhang in the back and neck in front of the restaurant before fleeing. The waitress is in custody but has not been identified. She claimed to have acted in self-defense, sources said. The two apparently had a relationship.
* Well, that won’t be a problem anymore.
* Self-defense? Was the man’s back and neck making threatening moves?
* So much for the Lucky Zhang Family restaurant name.
* She apparently wanted him … to go.
* That’s the problem when you eat at a Brooklyn Chinese restaurant: a half hour later you’re dead.
* “Wet Clean-up at Table Six!”
* Just curious: what did his fortune cookie say?
* “Waitress, when you get done stabbing that guy could we get some more green tea at our table?”
* I don’t know what the waitress was mad about, but this guy really got the point.
* The waitress was really moody that day. One minute she was sweet; the next minute she was sour.
