BURGLAR LOCKS KEYS IN GETAWAY CAR

A man suspected of burglarizing two businesses in the town of North Pole, Alaska, was delayed in his getaway by locking his keys in his car. Surveillance video of the burglary shows a man carrying items from the businesses into his car, then pulling his car closer to the door. Later, a cab arrives to help the man open the locked car. From the cab company, police obtained the name and cellphone number of 27-year-old Joseph Barria. The cab company said Barria told them he had locked his keys in the car. Barria is accused of stealing tools, stereo equipment and other property from a laundry and a fitness business. He has not yet been apprehended.
* If only he had robbed a locksmith’s shop.
* Did the surveillance video capture his forehead slap?
* Stick with it, Joseph. Practice makes perfect.
* Imagine doing bad stuff right smack in Santa’s home town! The nerve!
* He robbed a laundry and now he’s going to be hung out to dry.
* Stereo equipment? What’s that?
* He called a cab? In North Pole, Alaska, he should have called UberSleigh.
* Whew! For a second there I thought it was another one of Sarah Palin’s kids in trouble.
* Ironic that he would break into these businesses but not his own car.
* It turned out this was the one area of Alaska not currently appearing in a reality show.
* That reminds me: Best wishes to Otto from Alaska’s Last Frontier. Get well soon!
* I watch these Alaskan reality shows whenever I feel the Kardashians closing in on me.
