A new Texas restaurant is opening that promises to do for women what Hooters does for men. Tallywackers is a bar and restaurant slated to open in May in Dallas’ Oak Lawn neighborhood. The all-male waitstaff will be dressed in not much more than pairs of tight briefs. The founder of Tallywackers conceived of the idea “10 years ago while enjoying the business we all know and love known as “Hooters.” He asked himself, “Why isn’t there a male version for the opposite demographic?” (* I’m sure he also had a couple of questions about his own sexuality.) After thorough planning and scouting for the perfect location they settled on Dallas, Texas in the middle of – wait for it – a predominantly gay neighborhood. “While we are aiming towards the LGBT community as part of our audience, we are also expecting and welcome, a diverse clientele including women,” a spokesperson said.
* Waiters in briefs: “Would you like some more loose chest hair with your burger?”
* Why isn’t there a male version of Hooters? I don’t know. Maybe ’cause women aren’t as sleazy as men?
* Wait a second. What is a tally and who will be wacking it?
* Now they just have to tally up how much money they lose.
* This reminds me of the male brothel stories. I thought that was a bad idea too.
