AUDIO: AIRPLANE SEAT RAGE INCIDENT

A Southwest Airlines jetliner was forced to return to the gate at Los Angeles International Airport Sunday without taking off after a fight between passengers that was allegedly sparked by seat reclining. San Francisco-bound Flight 2010 left the gate at about 10:25 p.m. Sunday. About 15 minutes later, when the aircraft was on the taxiway, police got a call about a disturbance on board. According to eyewitnesses, one of the travelers attempted to recline her seat back just before takeoff, sparking an altercation with the man sitting directly behind her. The male passenger allegedly began choking the woman in front of him, prompting her to call for help. He was taken off the plane by police when the plane returned to the gate.
* You can sort of understand how tempers can flare after a long flight and … wait, they just boarded?
* Good luck putting this into one of those Southwest Airline ads with the little heart symbols.
* What was the guy’s plan here? Choke her and then say it was an accident?
* A few more stories like this and it’s time to weld all the seats in place.
* Let’s be fair: The first 14 minutes of the flight went great.
* The good news for everyone else who flies: This lady will probably never recline her seat back ever again.
* See, this is what happens when passengers can’t bring guns on board.
* Could be a disappointed Dodgers fan.
