PUPPY ABANDONED AT LAS VEGAS AIRPORT
A three-month-old puppy was abandoned at Las Vegas International Airport with a heartbreaking note explaining how the owner had “no other option” but to leave the miniature Chihuahua behind. Chewy was found over the weekend in a bathroom with a handwritten note that said his owner was a victim of domestic abuse and could not bring her precious pet along with her. “My owner was in an abusive relationship and couldn’t afford to get me on the flight,” the note read. “She didn’t want to leave me with all her heart but she has no other option.” Airport authorities gave Chewy to a dog rescue in Las Vegas where he has received numerous offers for adoption.
* This is the exact same way Siegfried found Roy.
* A three-month-old puppy that needs airfare? If the woman had put this on GoFundMe, she’d be a millionaire today.
* At least the dog hit the jackpot.
* Although it would probably be easier if his name wasn’t “Chewy.” Kind of makes you picture your furniture ruined.
* Could be worse. Could be named “Puddles”.
* PHONE TOPIC: Did you ever have to leave something behind at the airport?
