AUDIO: BARISTA RANTS OVER UNICORN FRAPPACINO
The Starbucks Unicorn Frappacino came out Wednesday. Braden Burson, a young barista from a Colorado Starbucks posted a rant while driving home from his shift. The video went viral on Twitter. He complains about the crowd, the work involved making the Unicorn Frappacino, how sticky the ingredients are, and begs people not to order one. Other baristas chimed in:
– “Yes, literally I made like 20 in a row and almost cried!!”
– “Dude my store completely sold out of all of it in 6 hours.”
– “Currently in a crowded #Starbucks and I’m not exaggerating when I say that every single person has ordered a Unicorn Frappuccino.”
Starbucks says in a statement it’s reaching out to Burson “to talk about his experience and how to make it better.”
* … by firing the little twerp.
* You can’t buy advertising like that, can you, Starbucks?
* See if you can count the things wrong with this picture:
1) He’s bad-mouthing his place of work publicly.
2) He’s filming his rant as he’s driving.
3) Work is hard! Waaaaahh!!!
4) He’s complaining about a successful product launch.
5) At least you have a job, you putz.
6) His name is “Braden”.
* How ’bout this: Everyone listening, go out and buy a Unicorn Frappacino today, and when they ask your name, say “Braden”.
* Hey, it’s a free country but aren’t you also a little disappointed to see consumers flocking to purchase something like this?
* It’s almost like we’re such a herd of sheep that we’ll buy anything they try to sell us.
CLIP: A bit of his rant. The bad edits are his.
